Love Thy Enemy: A Kigo Fan-Fic

"Ron come on!" Kim Possible shouted at her clumsy sidekick. "We've got to find Drakken before he shoots off that laser!"

Kim tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for Ron to come ambling up the hill. She looked up at the large twisting, mansion like lair in fear. What would they be up against this time? Kim had an uneasy feeling about this certain mission. Why? She had no clue.

"Ok!" Kim's lovable, bumbling sidekick Ron Stoppable huffed. "I'm here now"

"It's about time! Let's go!"

Kim turned to start running up the hill. Ron grabbed Kim's Arm and turned her to face him. Deep concern shown in his eyes.

"KP, what's wrong with you tonight?"

"Nothing. Let's go!"

"No! We're not going anywhere until you tell me what's wrong!"

"It's nothing. I just have a weird feeling about tonight. Like something's gonna happen that'll change all of our lives forever. Now let me go so we can stop Drakken from shooting off the Polar Isolator!"

Kim yanked her arm out of Ron's hand and sprinted up the hill. Ron stood for a minute and stared after her. He knew exactly what that life changing thing was. Shego. He shook his head and darted after Kim.

Drakken's lair wasn't hard to get into at all. Sure, the first few missions he had his mansion heavily guarded with minions, trap doors, and the occasional booby trap or destructo-bot. After the many times Kim and Ron had defeated those obstacles, Drakken finally gave up on keeping them out. So all a person needed to do was enter the front door.

"Wow!" Kim said surprised. "That was easier than I thought!

"Yea, no kidding!" Ron replied "Where are the traps and robots? Total bummer!"

"Yea Yea!" Rufus squeaked from Ron's pocket.

Beep Beep Be-Beep! Kim pulled out her Kimunicator device. She switched it on to reveal their hi-tech friend Wade on the monitor.

"What's the sitch Wade?" Kim asked in her usual "heroic" voice.

"Kim, Drakken has just sent his Polar Isolator up into space and is about to freeze the whole planet!" Wade informed while typing vigorously. "You've got to stop him before he sends everybody into a brand new ice age!"

"I'm on it!" Kim replied as she switched off her Kimunicator.

Kim grabbed Ron and headed to find Drakken. Meanwhile in an obnoxiously large control room, Drakken was anxiously waiting to press the button that would set off the laser and complete his plan for world domination. Shego sat and filed her nails patiently.

“Shego!” Drakken shouted in an annoyed tone. “I’m happy you gave me the idea for the Polar Isolator and everything but WHY do I have to wait to turn on the laser?”

“Because Kimmie needs to be here to see this.” Shego replied patiently

“B-But....I wanna press the big red button!”

“WE ARE WAITING TILL I GET TO SEE MY LITTLE KIMMIE END OF DISCUSSION!”

“What was that you said?”

“N- N -Nothing! I said we’re gonna wait till Kim gets here so she can see her family and friends frozen right in front of her eyes.”

“Ooh! Good plan Shego! Then we can crush her while she’s down!”

“Uh...Yea sure Dr. D.”

Shego wasn’t going to let Drakken hurt her sweet little Kim Possible. Ever since she first saw Kim, Shego was infatuated with that little red headed pistol! Guess you could say it was love at first sight. So any time she would have to fight or see Kim, Shego was overjoyed! She constantly called Kim things like “princess” or “pumpkin” in a secretive way to flirt with her. This night wasn’t any different!

Suddenly there was a sound of breaking glass as Kim came flying in through the skylight. She landed on the top of a monitor and did a back-flip onto the floor. Ron of course came awkwardly sliding down a rope.

“Ah, Kim Possible” Drakken started smoothly. “So nice that you could drop in.”

“Enough with the corny villain puns Drakken” Kim retorted. “Step away from the control!”

In a flash Shego was in front of Kim. She gave her the usual “Let’s fight” expression on her face. Shego had to stop herself from drooling all over Kim’s petite little body.

“Well hello there Pumpkin” Shego cooed.

That remark was the last straw for Ron. His face reddened and he charged towards Shego. With a quick slide, he placed himself between Kim and Shego.

“KP STAY AWAY FROM THAT WOMAN!!!” Ron shouted

“R-Ron!” Kim stuttered obviously taken by surprise. “What are you talking about?”

“Don’t you see what she’s doing? The little nicknames, the pinning you to walls, the way she perks up any time she sees you? CANT YOU SEE SHE’S FLIRTING WITH YOU???”

“What? Ron, Shego is NOT flirting with me! That’s just her way of intimidating her opponents! Right Shego?”

Shego’s face was pale (pale for Shego). Her eyes were red and tears were welled up in them. She slowly started to back away.

“Sh-Shego?” Kim asked horrified.

“I-I...” was all Shego could get out. She suddenly turned and blasted the control box for the Polar Isolator with her green plasma. She then turned back to face Kim. Now tears were flooding down her cheeks.

“Leave NOW!” Shego cried. “Your mission is successful so just go!”

Ron and Drakken were looking at each other with a confused expression. Kim didn’t move. She just stood looking at Shego horrified.
  

“GET OUTTA HERE!!!”

With that Ron grabbed Kim and they sprinted out of the mansion. Shego watched them as she sobbed. Then she turned and ran from the control room crying.

“I’m sorry” echoed down the hallway.
